At Home Summer Camp- Fun Ideas to Keep the Kids Busy This Summer (Free Printable)
Typically we chat all things interior design over here, but you know I'm obsessed with my boys and carving out time to spend with them this summer is going to be my main focus for the next few weeks! In fact, I've already slowed down quite a bit, taken some days off to take them to the pool or our local waterpark, and we just got back from a little weekend trip to New Braunfels! My oldest Phoenix is eight (almost nine) and Lincoln is four. They will never be this age again, w

One Room Challenge- Week 8 FINAL REVEAL!! Grandmillenial blue and pink dining room
We made it!! Eight weeks ago, our dining room looked like this... and I can't believe how far we have come! I had eight weeks to complete this One Room Challenge and I thought it would be fun to reminisce for a minute and see the progress that happened each week! Week one brought the mood board plan and you already saw where the room started... Week two was all about getting the foundational furniture pieces in place- we bought my Aunt Cathy's old dining hutch and she gifted

This week was all about the ceiling for the One Room Challenge. A project I thought I would start much earlier than I did is finally finished (shhh I still need to paint it)! One Room Challenge- Week 6
This week the plan was to tackle the curtains in the dining room for the One Room Challenge and well, let's say I almost accomplished it! I purchased these 50" dusty rose panels and sewed two of them together to create a 100" wide panel for each side. I also knew I wanted to add some trim to the edge of the curtains so on Monday I went shopping and found so many pretty options at a local fabric store. These were some of my top contenders. I finally landed on this pretty fring

Fun Friday- Father's Day Ideas, Fab Fit Fun, and Summer
The kid's are home for summer! This week has been a slight adjustment as I now have both boys at home full time. My husband Kris' schedule is not as flexible as it used to be. He received a big promotion a few months back, which was awesome (!!), but it also means that he has to be at work much earlier than he used to and gets home long after the kids are asleep. I've decided to take things a little slower this summer, tackling projects at a calmer pace. I may even take a wee

One Room Challenge- Week 5
Another week and another curveball for my One Room Challenge! This week I planned to work on the curtains and when I went to get started on them, I realized that I only had two panels- I thought I had ordered four panels so I could do a double panel sewed together on each side, but these curtains I bought only came with ONE panel! The price was for one curtain panel so all I had were two panels. *sigh* How is that even a thing?! I ended up placing another order for the next t
