My Favorites from The Mayfair Hall (and a coupon code)
I wanted to share a new website I discovered with you! It's called The Mayfair Hall and you know how I love a good thrift/antique find! This website kind of makes me feel like I'm antiquing from the comfort of my own home. The prices are a bit on the splurgier side, but they are all so beautiful that I think a piece here or there would absolutely be worth it! I ordered this little silver and brass keepsake box and it's become one of my favorite styling pieces.
It goes perfectly on a stack of books and I've been throwing odds and ends inside of it that I don't want to have to put in the "proper place" - spare change and legos mostly. My house is always swimming in legos. I've also saved several of these pieces for my kitchen makeover... I can't help but think that many of them (especially the blue and white plates!) would make the perfect finishing touch for my kitchen! Here are all of my favorite pieces from their website.
A. Blue Asiatic Pheasants Etuscan Jug- This pitcher is so sweet. I love that it has the blue and white detailing, and that it's a soft blue and not the cobalt blue that I see on most antiques.
B. Stipe Alpaca Throw- This throw is light blue and white with a fringe detail. I need this to throw over the back of my sofa ASAP.
C. Copper Tea Kettle- I love that this kettle has copper and brass. It's the perfect piece to bring in if you're trying to mix metals in your kitchen!
D. Silver Keepsake Flower Box- This is the little box that I purchased- love it!
E. Blue Asiatic Pheasants Cake Plate- I need a set of these to display in my glass front cabinets, they are so pretty with that light blue color and the scalloped detail!
F. Etched Glass Hurricane- This hurricane is gorgeous! Would be perfect for a big floral arrangement (real or faux).
G. Pale Blue and Gold Scalloped Gallery Tray- I am always in need of more trays and this one is so pretty. Trays work so well to corral groups of items that might otherwise look like clutter, when they're corralled on a tray- they suddenly feel tidy and purposeful. I love the color on this one!
H. Etched Cake Dome and Platter- In Joanna Gaines' cookbook Magnolia Table she talks about how she always has some type of baked good ready to go in a glass cake stand in her kitchen. While I may not have my life as together as that, I would like to think if I owned this particular cake dome I would be well on my way.
I. Ivory and Blue Chinoiserie Wastepaper Basket- This is a trash can. It's possibly the most beautiful trash can I've ever seen. I'm not sure I would actually be able to throw trash into it, but if you need a visible trash can anywhere (other than tucked into a kitchen cabinet) it should be a pretty one.
