Phoenix's First Birthday- Cowboys and Indians Birthday Party

This was one of the first events I planned back when I had only just started my wedding planning business (in 2012!!). On my old blog (many years back) I had written a long post about it going through every last detail, but sadly after starting my new business those old blog posts were lost (RIP). I wanted to make sure these images remained on the internet in some way- they were important moments in my families life, but also a part of my creative journey. So while I'm not going to dive into every detail, I am putting the images up here and it may just be for my own personal nostalgia- humor me won't you? And before we dive in, I want to give a brief PSA- This birthday party was 8 years ago and I can now look back and say that the theme was in poor taste, my dad tried to warn me at the time, and I thought it was silly. But in 2020 I absolutely would not do a cowboys and indians themed party, it's disrespectful to the true natives of our country and I just wanted to put that out there.
